Since The Peasantry began playing shows in September of 2006, the band has quickly risen to the forefront of the Boston indie circuit. The band has been featured on Break Thru Radio twice receiving over 2 million plays within 5 days, New York Citie's 75 Min. Podcast, Emerson's W.E.R.S. live radio series, the NEMO music festival, embarked on an East Coast tour, shot a music video with for their single "Tie Off Before You Go Out" and have been invited to play North Eastern's welcome back "Block Party" taking place September 4th 2007. March 18th marked yet another step forward for The Peasantry with the rele ase of their E.P. entitled "Don't Harm Barbara Gordon" the band plans to continue to tour and make a name for themselves nationwide.
